HAPPY NEW YEAR BONNE ANNEE 2006
Hope you are all having a great Holiday season and that you are resting well among friends and family.
I went south to the Pyrenees Mountains to spend Xmas with my parents and got a lot of snow up there but now that I am back in Paris there's snow !
My Balcony is now a bit sad (plants are sleeping, look at the picture of the balcony last Spring to compare).
The sprinkle of snow on the roof tops is very beautiful and always reminds me of what Mimi in La Bohème must have seen from her little bedroom under the roofs...
But This morning while I was taking pictures a bird flew in and sat on the balcony for a long time. I seemed a bit tired and was looking up the sky and the swnow flakes falling from it.
This bird on the baclcony was a symbol of better times to come soon, Spring and Summer and their long and lazy days full of sun, and evenings spent with friends at the terrasse of cafés chatting and laughing.
So I wanted to offer you this picture of this bird and in the same time wish you a wonderful 2006 year full of warmth and friends and ... Love !!!!
