GNOD

GNOD is a website I encountered years ago.

It is a great way to get to know more music bands or books or movies you know you will like.
How does it work? The engine asks its users questions about their tastes in literature, films and music and from those many many interviews it draws maps that with years become more acurate.

for instance I love the band 'Kings of convenience' and here is a map with other bands I might know or not but that I should definitely look into:
